Bardiani-CSF introduces its second month of competitions with a trip to Croatia. Two road races the #GreenTeam programs, both in the Istrian peninsula: Umag Trophy (6 March) of 161 km and Porec Trophy (9 March) of 156 km.
The two events will be on raced on mixed circuit. Less demanding the Umag race, more insidious the one in Porec, but both with a favorable arrival (on paper) to fast wheels.
Bardiani-CSF will be at the start with four sprinters to hit the big target: Andrea Guardini, Paolo Simion, Michael Bresciani and Marco Maronese. At their side two solid rouleurs like Mirco Maestri and Alessandro Pessot.
"The first goal is to manage the race, not to be surprised and keep the day's breakaway under control," said team director Mirko Rossato. "The second is to put our sprinters in the best conditions to win. Guardini, Simion, Bresciani and Maronese are all very fast but have different characteristics. Having more alternatives to exploit is an advantage, but we’ll need clear ideas and cold blood do not miss the right moment “.
