Together with the end of 2017 season, only one week ago at Tour of Hainan, Bardiani-CSF finished also the operations to strengthen its roster in view of 2018.
Five are the new signings, led by Andrea Guardini and Manuel Senni, the two pro riders coming from World Tour teams UAE Emirates and BMC. In addition, three U23 riders ready to become pro-rider: Giovanni Carboni and Umberto Orsini from Team Colpack-Marchiol, Daniel Savini from GS Maltinti.
Twelve the riders selected from 2017 roster and already under contract: Vincenzo Albanese, Simone Andreetta, Enrico Barbin, Michael Bresciani, Giulio Ciccone, Mirco Maestri, Marco Maronese, Lorenzo Rota, Paolo Simion, Simone Sterbini, Alessandro Tonelli and Luca Wackermann.
Referred to 2017 roster, the team also notified the rescission of the contract by mutual consent with riders Nicola Boem and Niccolò Pacinotti.
In line with its #GreenTeam sport project, Bardiani-CSF 2018 team will have an average age of 23.5 and will be composed only by Italian athletes. The management will include Bruno Reverberi (general manager), Roberto Reverberi (team manager and team director), Stefano Zanatta (team director) and Claudio Cucinotta (team coach and team director).
The #GreenTeam, riders and staff, will meet for the first camp from December 4 to 6 in Montecchio Emilia (Reggio Emilia).
